GBS Malaysia Announces New Leadership Committee for 2026–2027 Term

Strengthening Malaysia’s Position as a High-Value Digital Global Business Services Hub

Petaling Jaya, 26 Jan 2026 – The Digital Global Business Services Council Malaysia (GBS Malaysia) has announced its newly elected leadership committee for the 2026–2027 term following its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 14 January at The National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM).

GBS Malaysia is a strategic chapter under PIKOM, dedicated to advancing Malaysia as a high-value Digital GBS hub.

Established in 2006 as Outsourcing Malaysia, the council has since evolved alongside the industry to address the increasingly sophisticated demands of global enterprises across shared services, outsourcing, and digital services.

The newly elected GBS Malaysia Committee for the 2026–2027 term is led by Raymond Davadass of Daythree Business Services Sdn Bhd as Chair, with Jusri Ong Chin Yap of Telecontinent Sdn Bhd serving as Deputy Chair (Outsourcing) and Koay Tze Siang of Dell Global Business Centre Sdn Bhd as Deputy Chair (Shared Services).

Akhil Gupta of Talbotiq Technologies Sdn Bhd has been appointed Treasurer, while Anthony Raja Devadoss of Agensi Pekerjaan Korn Ferry Sdn Bhd continues on the committee as Immediate Past Chair. The committee is further supported by members Chua Chai Ping of Experian Marketing Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Dang Tin Wai of Nubitel Technology Sdn Bhd, Kalaiarasu Ramar of Zimmer Biomet, and Michelle Teoh of Horizontal Malaysia.

Under the leadership of seasoned industry practitioners, GBS Malaysia will continue to work closely with government agencies, academia, and industry stakeholders to drive talent development, enhance industry competitiveness, and position Malaysia as a preferred destination for high-value, digitally enabled GBS operations.

Over the years, GBS Malaysia has played a key role in convening the regional GBS ecosystem through flagship initiatives such as the GBS ASEAN Summit, GBS ASEAN Awards, and regular member engagement sessions and industry roundtables, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and regional market access for Malaysian companies.

Looking ahead, the new committee aims to deepen industry-government collaboration, strengthen the talent pipeline, and expand regional and global engagement opportunities for GBS players operating in Malaysia.

GBS Malaysia invites companies operating in the global business services, shared services, outsourcing, and digital services space including MNCs, GBS centres, service providers, and enablers to connect, collaborate, and grow together.

By engaging with PIKOM and GBS Malaysia, organisations can participate in industry advocacy, talent initiatives, regional platforms, and market-access opportunities that collectively strengthen Malaysia’s GBS ecosystem.
